Oh Wildfire!

Oh Wildfire!

Oh Wildfire!

Oh wildfire, set me free!

Burn the chains confining me.

Climb up the walls of blind

Beliefs, standing tall

In relentless pride and

Reduce them to ashes -

For I want to breathe air

Free from fumes and greed.

My lungs are filled with roses -

With aroma like honey sweet,

All dressed in dew, defining clarity.

But what can be worse?

The suffocation - slowly ascending

My throat and now I can’t

Breathe free like before.

Oh wildfire! Make place, for

I shall plant the roses

Where they belong

And breathe free.
