It’s there in you, may be hidden, disguised, altered or in any other form. But it’s most certainly there, deep down in your fickle heart and unyielding mind, under the layers of pre-mature maturity, forceful acceptance of reality, piled-up emotions, challenging self-forgiveness, and all of that.
It’s waiting to show up, plotting and prying against your knowledge. And when it knows that the time is approaching, it readies, stands tip-toed like a keen and stubborn kid. And it sprints toward you to turn your world upside down.
But this time, God knows, it’s not the same. It is not what it used to be, it is a changed thing, but not really on the face of it. That’s what the hiding place does to it. Transforms, for better or worse, so much so that it ceases to look like what it was. And only then, you get the benefit of examining it in a new light.
