Always There

And there were days when their minds

Were tangled with each other.

And their hands clenched tight -

holding on to each other.

Their shadows were up and close,

narrating the hidden but obvious.

Their hearts made patterns - vivid

And bubbly, reflecting in their eyes.

They read upon their glances -

gentle and long.

But they weren't in a hurry.

They weren't trying to find anything.

What they didn't know was,

It was always there,

They were just not aware.
